Margarita Rivera, 81, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on August 27, 2015 in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marcelino Rivera.
Surviving her are her children: Rosa M. Rivera, Marta V. Rivera, Sonia (Juan Antonia) Rios, Araceli (Alector) Saldaña, Yolanda Rivera, Erika (Hector) Benavidez, Arnoldo Rivera; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
