Obituary of Benito Juarez

SAN BENITO, TX- Benito M. Juarez, 86, went to be with the Lord on Monday October 10, 2011 at the Retama Nursing Home in Harlingen. He was a WWII veteran who serviced in the US Navy. Benito will be greatly missed and great memories of him will live on in our hearts forever. He is preceded in death by his sister, Consuelo J. Hernandez and his brother, Pablo Juarez. He is survived by his sister, Maria De Leon and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A chapel service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:00 am at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be conducted at San Benito City Cemetery under the direction of John Hanson with American Legion Post #43 of Brownsville, TX. Words of Comfort can be sent to the family of Benito Juarez at www.thomaegarza.com. Family members would like to thank the staff at Retama Nursing Home for attending to his needs this past year.
