Refugio V. Gonzales, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Harlingen, Texas at the age of 99. Refugio, known as “Pancho”, worked with Ballenger Construction for 37 years.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Amalia Gonzales.
Surviving him are his three daughters: Micaela (Vicente+) Moreno, Maria Teresa (Fidel) Guerra, Elida G. Garcia; one son, Vicente (Connie) Moreno, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
