Lydia D. Delgado, age 90, of Laguna Heights, Texas passed away on June 23, 2015 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ramon Delgado; daughter, Emilia D. Wirsche; her parents, Jose and Guadalupe B. Dominguez; two brothers, Jose B. Dominguez and Lucio Dominguez; three sisters: Guadalupe D. Garza, Aurora D. Rosales, and Refugia Dominguez; and granddaughter, Jennifer W. Bruce. She is survived by her children: Lydia (Joe) Floyd, Ramiro Tito (Carmen) Delgado, Jose Daniel (Diana) Delgado, Enrique (Beatriz) Delgado, Jose Lino Delgado, Jesse (Ana) Delgado, Ray (Lupita) Delgado, Rogerio (Lucy) Delgado, Alicia (Tommy) Montelongo, and Rosa (Merced) Cantu; son-in-law, Stanley (Emilia+) Wirsche; 37 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Cremation will follow in accordance with her wishes.
