George Eliberto Guerra, 78, of Santa Rosa, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Dad was a great dad. He loved to play with his grandchildren. He only went to school till the 2nd grade because of a school bus accident. He loved to paint and repair cars. He is preceded in death by 2 sons: Jimmy Guerra and George E. Guerra Jr.; 2 siblings: Elena Guerra and Juan Guerra. George is survived by his wife Maria Carmen Guerra, children: Sally Mora, Oralia Guerra, Connie Espinoza, Jesus Guerra, Rose Mary Orana, Patricia Alvarez, Jorge Guerra, Brenda Martinez; siblings: Higino Guerra, Jose Angel Guerra, Guadalupe Martinez, Roberto Guerra, and Calistro Guerra. Visitation will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Esparza Cemetery in El Ranchito, Texas.
