Beatrice Guzman-Loya, 71, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Loya, Jr.; her mother, Maria de la Luz Guzman; and her father, Selso Guzman. She is survived by her daughters, Maggie (Ejenio, Sr.) Loya Capetillo, Patricia “Pat” (Gabriel) Loya Estrada, and Amalia “Molly” (Jaime) Loya Lopez; her son, George (Gloria) Loya, Sr.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers: Gabriel Guzman and Fidel Guzman; and six sisters: Olga, Ernestina, Cristina, San Juana, Delia, and Diana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Raymondville Memorial Park in Raymondville, Texas.
