Obituary of Rodolfo Diaz

Rodolfo Diaz, 57, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, in Port Isabel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto Garcia Diaz and Marina Ochoa Diaz; his brothers, Raul Diaz and Andres Diaz; and a sister, Irma R. Diaz. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Del Carmen Rosas; stepchildren, Zayra Del Carmen, Laura Ivette, Jimmy Joel and Dafne Dyanna Rosas; four brothers, Jose Gilberto Diaz, Antonio Diaz, Albert Diaz, Ernesto Diaz and and Enrique Diaz; and five sisters, Irene Diaz, Ida Irma Diaz, Maria Elena Diaz, Rosalinda Ramirez and Alma D. Martinez. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, from noon to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan St. in Brownsville, with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 43 Honor Guard of Brownsville.
