Laguna Vista, TX, - Refugio "Cookie" Cisneros, 48, of Laguna Vista passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in Laguna Vista. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel; he graduated from Port Isabel High School in 1981 and was a life long resident of Port Isabel. He was employed with Hercules Offshore Drilling of Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Monica Ochoa Cisneros; his brother, Ramon Cisneros; and his sister, Carmen Camacho. Refugio is survived by his wife, Viola Cisneros of Laguna Vista; 3 sons, Randy Ray Cisneros of South Padre Island; Reymund Paul Cisneros and Ronald Anthony Cisneros both of Laguna Vista; 2 brothers, Francisco (Gloria C.) Cisneros, Jr. of Port Isabel and Pascual Reynaldo (Suzanne) Cisneros of West Virginia; a sister, Monica (Pete) Vela of Port Isabel; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located at 605 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel. Visitations will continue Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Mass of Resurrection will begin at 3:00 P.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. Cremation will follow the service to Sacred Park Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Refugio "Cookie' Cisneros to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 605 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, TX 78578 Pallbearers will be Pete Vela, Pascual Cisneros, Pascual Cisneros, Jr., Frankie Cisneros, Jr., Paul Salinas, Roger Salinas, Benny Del Rio, and Urbano Gonzalez.
