Esperanza C. Zuniga, 67, of San Benito entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center Harlingen, TX. She is preceded in death by her mother, Guadalupe Longoria. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Eliazar Zuniga; her children, Rosie (Rene, Sr.) Garcia, Eliazar (Valerie) Zuniga, Jr., Norma (Santos, Jr.) Padilla, Belma (Jaime) Garza, Nelda Zuniga, and Ana Laura Z. (Larry) Huerta; her brother, Zeferino Lartigue; and sister, Lydia Vento. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
