Port Isabel, TX- Transita Martinez, 87, of Port Isabel passed away on September 21, 2010 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Primitivo Sandoval; and her parents, Jose Santana Martinez and Guadalupe Guerrero.
Transita is survived by her 9 children, Eleuterio Sandoval, Guadalupe Sandoval, Aurelio Sandoval, Maria Sandoval, Juan Sandoval, Primitivo Sandoval, Isabel Sandoval, Daniel Sandoval and Martin Sandoval; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Interment will follow to Las Yescas Cemetery.
