Hortencia Delgado, 72, of Laureles and Los Fresnos, Texas passed away on September 4, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Teodoro Delgado; and 2 sons, Teodoro Delgado, Jr. and Juan Miguel Delgado.
Hortencia is survived by her 5 daughters, America Leticia Gonzalez, Marvelia Gandara, Norma Elia Gonzalez, Sonia Herrera and Sylvia Particia Vasquez; her grandchildren, Teodoro Delgado III, Natalia Delgado, Julio Cesar Delgado, Juan M. Delgado, Jr., Luis Armando Delgado, Karina Leticia Delgado, America Janethe Gonzalez, Vicente Gonzalez, Jr., Marvelline Gandara, Mariela Guadalupe Gandara, Virginia Martinez, Ramiro Martinez, Jose Armando Herrera, Sylvia Damaris Vasquez and Juan Ismael Vasquez, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 6, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Interment followed to Los Cuates Cemetery.
