Rio Hondo, TX- Eloisa Garcia, 83, entered peacefully into Eternal Rest on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Veranda Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Harlingen, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Esmerejildo and Ambrosia Vasquez Garcia; her sisters, Manuela V. Garcia, Maria V. Garcia, and Berta G. Casango; her brothers, Guadalupe Infante, Roman Infante, and Jose V. Garcia; and her aunt, Tia Tacha Vasquez. She is survived by her sister, Antonia G. Infante of Salida, California; her brother/nephew Samuel (Ernestina) Garcia Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas; her nephews, Jose "Nino" Garcia Jr., Juan L. Garcia, and Richard Garcia; and her niece, Maria Aurora Cortez; and other relatives, Infante Fam. from Salinas Ca and Mellow Park CA. Visitation will be held Monday, September 5, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Rio Hondo Community Cemetery.
