San Benito, TX- Pastor Celia R. Trevino, 70, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 16, 2010.
She served the Lord for 29 years; she became a pastor in 2000. She was a pastor for Iglesia Fuente de Bendicion in San Benito. She loved spending time with her grandkids and with her sisters in Christ.
Mrs. Trevino is preceded in death by her husband, Angel Trevino.
She is survived by her children, Alejandro (Isela) Trevino, Armando Trevino, Angel (Anna) Trevino, Cipriano (Noemi) Trevino, Alicia (Raul) Castillo and Ana Luisa (Saul) Mendez; 28 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Centro de Alabanza y Poder located at 297 S. McCullough St. in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
