Obituary of Elmo Moody

San Benito, TX- Elmo E. Moody, 79, of San Benito passed away on August 9, 2010 at La Hacienda Healthcare Center in Harlingen. He was employed with US Steel Mill of Indiana before his retirement; he will be dearly missed by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Angelica Enriquez Moody and Edward T. Moody; and a brother, Edward Luis Moody. Elmo is survived by his daughter, Terry Marez; his sons, Mark J. Moody and Allen Moody; his siblings, Polly Moody, Gene (Ann) Moody, Rosa H. Moody-Guerra and Stella (David) Moody-Siegel; along with numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Pallbearers will be Mark A. Moody, David A. Garza, Placido Guerra, J.V. Lynch, Roy Lynch, Joe H. Villarreal and Mark J. Moody. Words of comfort can be sent to the family of Elmo E.
