San Benito/ El Ranchito, TX - Maria Del Refugio Gonzalez, 76, of San Benito/ EL Ranchito, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Guadalupe Yanez, Jose Yanez, Alberto Yanez, and Ricardo Yanez; sisters, Felipa Yanez Gonzalez, Eloisa Vasquez, Petra Yanez, and Mercedes Longoria; one daughter, Dolia Gonzalez. She is survived by her three sons, Dionicio (Carmen) Gonzalez, Jr., David (Elia) Gonzalez, and Daniel Gonzalez; one daughter, Diana (Jose Luis) Rosenbaum; nine grandchildren, Monica, Norma, Dionicio III, David Jr., Duben, Joey, Sandy, Jesse, and Crystal; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous family members. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in La Paloma. Interment will follow to Gonzalez Cemetery.
