Las Yescas, TX: Luis R. Ortega, 83, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at his residence in Las Yescas, TX. He is survived by his wife, Herminia E. Ortega; his children; Louisa O Moreno, Elena Hopping, Irene O, Garza, Hermilinda O. Forter, Norma Ortega, Ganett O.Vasquez, Lozano Ortega, Rudel Ortega, Arturo Ortega, Matias Ortega, Mariano Ortega, Maugro Ortega; 37 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will resume on Sunday, May 30, 2010 and on Monday, May 31, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited both nights at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ortega residence, 23285 FM 106 Las Yescas, in Rio Hondo, Texas.
