Rio Hondo, TX - Miquela M. Corona, 74, entered the Lord's Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was born in Lozano, Texas on December 10, 1936. She is preceded in death by her parents Juan Moreno and Bonifacia Gonzalez; four brothers, Juan Moreno, Jesus Moreno, Ramon Paz, and Octavio Paz, Jr; sister, Francisca Gariby; and one son, Ricardo Corona. She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe S. Corona; her children, Juan Corona, Yolanda Duenez, Antonio Corona, and Sylvia R. Corona; four sisters, Juanita Garza, Guadalupe Hernandez, Manuela Moreno, Paula Moreno; Auhenio Moreno, Juan Moreno Jr., Pedro Moreno; four grandchildren Mario Rodriguez, Leticia De La Torre, Juan G. Corona Jr. and Lucy Corona. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren who she loved and adored. Visitation will be held today, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a chapel service at 12:00 noon at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Interment will follow to Las Yescas Cemetery.
