Nora Rendon Marin, 49 of Porter, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 in Porter, Texas. She was born on June 14, 1957 in Harlingen, Texas and was a giving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Viewing will begin today Friday, 9/8/2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, 9/9/2006 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic church in Harlingen, Texas located on "C" Street and Tyler Avenue. Interment will follow to Ashland Memorial Gardens in Harlingen, Texas. She is survived by her Husband: Alfredo "Freddy" Marin, Sr. of Porter, Texas, 6 Children: Alfredo Marin, Jr., Bianca Amanda Marin, Marina Christina Marin, Marcos Marin, Yazmin Sharri Marin, and Kristoval Marin, 9 grandchildren, and her Mother: Olivia Chavez Rendon. Other survivors include her 5 sisters; Manuela Rendon, Obdulia Rendon, Olivia Rendon Solis, Rosa Maria Rendon, and Zulema Rendon, 3 Brothers; Frank Rendon, Hilario Rendon, Jr., and Leandro L. Rendon. She was preceded in death by her father; Hilario Rendon, Sr., and her sister; Lilia Gonzales. Pallbearers will be Alfredo Marin, Jr., Marcos Marin, Jose Gonzales, Jr., Esteban Gonzales, Rumaldo Solis, Jr., Francisco Manuel Rendon, Juan Carlos Marquez, and Fabian Marin.
