Francisca Torres, 91, of Los Fresnos, Tx, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Antonia Garza; her parents, Eusebio and Salome Torres; three brothers, and one sister. Panchita will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, humble soul who brought a smile to all those she met. She leaves a legacy of strength, honor, love, and faith in our Lord. Matthew 25:21 She is survived by her daughters: Guadalupe Gonzalez, Celia Villarreal, Alicia Mendoza, Oralia Rodriguez, Josefina Garcia, and Cynthia Garcia; her sisters: Maria Torres, Maria "Cuca" Garza, and Mercedes Rios; 31 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, August 19, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Templo Mi Rendentor in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow at Los Cuates Cemetery.
