Harlingen/San Benito, TX- Jose Antonio Pena, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at age 97 in San Benito, TX.
He is preceded by his wife of 70 years, Sara Argullin Pena.
He leaves five children: Tony Pena, Carmela Vieira, Diane McGovern, Connie Murphy, Gracie Garza, and their families; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
A chapel service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
