S. Padre Island, TX- Eben Roberto Martinez, 45, of S. Padre Island, TX passed away March 26, 2010 suddenly at his home. He was born on May 25, 1964 in McAllen, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose F. Jr. and Irma Moody Martinez.
Eben is survived by his sister, Marianela Martinez Bullock; 3 brothers, Jose F. Martinez III, Gerardo Felipe Martinez and David Damian Martinez; and several nieces and nephew; he also leaves behind many good friends, they all will love and miss him very much; especially his best friend, Mr. Bill Crane.
Eben was a kind and gentle soul who truly loved the peace he found out on the open water; his loss will be hard on those who remain.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Mercedes, TX; the scattering of his remains will take place later that evening at South Padre Island.
