San Benito, TX- Cesario R. Hernandez, 100, of San Benito, TX passed away March 3, 2010 at Harlingen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Tomasa Garcia Hernandez, 2 sons, Humberto Hernandez and Hugo Hernandez; a grandson, Cesario Hernandez III; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Cesario is survived by his children, Maria Guadalupe Iracheta of San Benito; Juanita Olmeda of Brownsville; Hector Hernandez of San Benito; and Cesario Hernandez, Jr. of San Benito; 56 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great -great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Cristobal Hernandez, Elias Hernandez and Raul Hernandez; 4 sisters, Leonarda H. Varela, Delia H. Cruz, Rita H. Garcia and Carmen H. Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Las Rusias Cemetery.
