San Benito, TX: Manuela Pinon Lucio, 90, of San Benito, TX entered the gates of Heaven on December 16, 2009 at her residence in San Benito. She is preceded in death by her eldest son, Mariano Lucio(2006); and her brothers, Theodore Pinon and Rafael Pinon. Manuela is survived by her husband of 73 years, Jose Lucio, her children, Mariano+ (Aurora) Lucio, Juana (Antonio+) Banuelos, Francisco Lucio, Pedro (Francis) Lucio, Jeronimo Lucio, Maria (Martin) Garcia, Guadalupe (Lupita) Lucio, Juanita (Richard) Campos, Pablo Luco, Concepcion Lucio, Petra (Ben) Price and Ramona (David) Short. As well as her siblings, Jose Pinon, Isabel P.(Chavela) Lucio, and Cirildo (Nena) Pinon (a brother raised as a son to her); along with 31 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Chapel Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Interment will follow to Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos.
