San Benito, TX: Jackie O. Garnett, 95, of San Benito, TX passed away, Sunday, December 6, 2009 at her residence in San Benito, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacia and Richard Garnett; brother, Eladio A. Garnett; sister, Josefina Garcia; nephew, Ricardo "Dickie" Garcia; and niece, Belinda N. Franco.
Jackie is survived by her sister, Bertha Nunez; her niece, Irma Carlson; her nephews, Ronaldo Garcia, Arnold Garnett, Reynaldo Garnett, Don Nunez and Felipe "Phil" Nunez; along with numerous other relatives and their spouses. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 12 noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 12 Noon at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Deacon Paul McArdle officiating. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
