Brownsville, Texas- Juana G. Villanueva "Abuelita Chiquita", 90, of Brownsville, TX passed away Monday, November 9, 2009 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville..
She is preceded in death by her son, Esteban Ricardo Almaguer.
Juana is survived by her children, Gabriela V. (Nemecio) Candelaria of Monterrey, Mexico, Fernando (Manuela) Villanueva of Brownsville, Texas and Esperanza V.(Antonio) Coronado of Monterrey, Mexico;
Her grandchildren, Alberto (Carmen) Villanueva of Los Fresnos Texas, Markus (Alma) Villanueva of Brownsville, Texas, Laura V. (Ramiro) Sayas of Brownsville, Texas, Manuel Almaguer of Brownsville, Manuel (Socorro) Candelaria, Dionicio (Guillerma) Candelaria, Alicia C. (Francisco R.) Ramirez, Rafael (Jenet) Candelaria, Blanca Nelly C. (Hugo) Alvarado, Mario (Veronica) Candelaria, Rosalia C. Licon, Luz Maria Candelaria, Gabriela C. Hernandez, Joel (Martha) Coronado, Maria C. (Pedro) Torres, Roberto (Inocencia) Coronado, Leonardo Coronado, Teresa C. (Santos) Delgado, Esperanza C. (Ramiro) Cerda and Carmen C. (Domingo) Salas all of Monterrey, Mexico;
51 great grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren.
No local services will be held at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral Services will be held at Funeraria Modernos located in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Interment will follow to Parque Funeral Santa Rosa located in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
