San Benito, TX- Salome C. Moreno, 96, of San Benito, Texas passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents. Isidro and Josefina Cavazos; her husband, Juan Moreno; 2 sons, Juan Aron Moreno Jr. Antonio Moreno; 3 brothers, Isidro Cavazos, Jorge Cavazos and Blas Cavazos;2 sisters, Jesusita Harrison and Tomasita Turner. Mrs. Moreno is survive by her children, Angie (Frank ) Saldivar, Jose (Ninfa) Moreno, Josie Moreno, Domingo (Solia) Moreno, Rogelio (lidia) Silva; 1 step daughter, Maria Luisa Cervantes; 16 Grandchildren and 36 great -grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held on today, Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Visitation will reasume Monday, October 26, 2009 from 10 AM to 9 P.M. with holy rosary to be recited at 7 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
