Port Isabel, Texas - Raul Gonzalez, 74 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at South Padre Island, TX. He was a a resident of Port Isabel for more than 25years and member of Our Lady Staar of the Sea Catholic Chuch. Raul is preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Maria Luisa Silva Gonzalez; two sisters, Maria De La Luz Gonzalez and Guadalupe Gonzalez; one brother, Roberto Gonzalez Silos. He is survived by his wife, Hipolita Padron Rosas Gonzalez; 2 sons, Jose Angel (Alda Maria Moreno) Gonzalez, Raul (Brenda Cerda) Gonzalez; 4 daughters, Maria Elena Gonzalez, Alma Delia (Jesus) Ochoa, Bertha Alicia (Juan Abundia) Gonzalez, Marina Gonzalez; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Abel Gonzalez Silos, Alfredo Gonzalez Silos and Antonio Gonzalez Silos. Visitations will be held Friday, July 24, 2009 from 12pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be Held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 10am at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
