San Benito, TX- Ofelia Robles Gonzalez, 70, of San Benito passed away January 9, 2009 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Florentino Gonzalez; a son, Rene Gonzalez; her parents, Santiago and Santos Robles; and her sister, Clara Vasquez. Ofelia is sirvived by her children, Jose Florentino Gonzalez, Lionel Gonzalez, Erma Sedillo, Becky Gebara, Alfredo Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez, Rafael Gonzalez, Rachel Gonzalez, Dora Yanez (Jose) and Noel Gonzalez; 27 grandchildren and nunerous great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Estaban Robles, Ezequiel Robles, Gilberto Robles and Jimmy Robles; 4 sisters, Ramona Escamilla, Lily Delgado, Delia Salazar and Gloria Robles. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
