Port Isabel, TX - Dortha Ann Woods, 46, of Port Isabel passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Louise Knight and Fredrick Charles Knight, Sr.; and nephew, Stanley Oliver.
Ms. Woods is survived by her husband, Handell M. Woods; her children, Frank Roberts, Shanna Roberts, Richard Davis, John Newcomer, LaRhonda "Charleen" Woods, Aaron "Levi" Woods and Abel "Jordan" Woods; her 9 grandchildren, Paige Roberts, Trae McGregor, Xanna McGregor, Aven Roberts, Hailey Morgan Roberts, Kinley Grace Newcomer, David "Isaac" Woods - Garcia, Ayden Nicolai Woods and Josiah Alexander Woods; her brothers and sisters, Fredrick Knight, Jr., Paula Knight, Kelly McCleney, Reno Knight, Cole Knight, Larry Knight and Johnny Knight.
Visitations will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Service at 6:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Cremation will follow.
