Ernestina Garcia Vasquez, 91, of Harlingen, TX passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Ernestina is preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Vasquez, Sr.; son, Manuel “Manny” Vasquez; sisters, Beatriz Garcia, and Carmen Garcia; brothers, Lalo Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Ramon Garcia, and Juan Garcia; parents, Leopoldo, and Viviana Garcia. She is survived by her children, Rolando (Olga) Vasquez, Rodolfo Vasquez Jr., Martha Sanchez, and Hope (Jose) Velasquez. In addition, she is survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, February 9, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service immediately following at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
