María de los Ángeles Domínguez Rodríguez, aged 103, passed away peacefully in Harlingen, TX on January 10, 2024. Born October 4,1920 in Oriente province, Cuba, she was the daughter of Manuel Domínguez and Mariana Rosabal. María was preceded in death by her husband Juan Andrés Rosales, ten siblings throughout Cuba and the United States, and daughter Jacqueline Rosales Pereira. A long life well-lived, our beloved mother, grandmother, and forever confidant, María Rodríguez, leaves behind boundless examples of unconditional love, and a legacy firmly marked by her unwavering faith. Her unfaltering hope lives in the deepest recesses of the hearts that loved her most. As we, the family, announce her passing, and as we mourn and miss her, we rejoice in the knowledge that we will see her again. We stand firm upon the rock of our salvation that is Jesus Christ, and we delight in the spirit of faithful servanthood to the Lord she professed, loved, sought, and followed. While her absence is deeply felt, her example marks us forever more. Our beloved mamá and abuela is survived by her former son-in-law, the Rev. F. Feliberto Pereira of Los Fresnos, TX; her grandson, Joel (Leticia) Pereira of Harlingen, TX; and granddaughter, Ruthie Pereira of New York, NY. María is also lovingly survived and remembered by her great-grandchildren Clarissa (Victor) Treviño of Harlingen, TX; Miguel (Yamileth) Pereira of Texas City, TX; Luís Pereira of Los Angeles, CA; and great-great grandchildren Ethan Pereira and Jonathan Treviño of Harlingen, TX.
