Federico Martinez Jr., received his angel wings and was reunited with his father and other loved ones on December 6th, 2023. He spent his final days loved and surrounded by his family who would care for him, and whom he committed his life to. Federico was born on October 25th, 1952, to Federico Martinez and Olivia Canales. He spent most of his time in the fields harvesting crops like his father did. He grew up in La Paloma, but resided in San Benito with his lovely wife Angela Trejo. Harvesting crops showing his son the same path his father showed him. Working hard and providing for his family is something Federico dedicated himself to. Federico is preceded in death by his father, Federico Martinez, his siblings, Maria Elva Martinez Rocha, Hilda Martinez Ramos, Ernesto Martinez, Bertha Martinez Torres, and his son Alonso Sosa Trejo. Left to honor and treasure his memory is his loving wife of 27 years Angela Trejo De Martinez, his sons Federico (Yulissa) Martinez, and Jose (Brittany) Noriega. His grandchildren: Andrea Sosa, Aliyah Sosa and Jose A. Noriega. His mother Olivia Canales, siblings Adalia Martinez Becerra, Elida Martinez and Jose Martinez. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 3 pm to 9 pm with a rosary to be held at 7 pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. A Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2021, at 10 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church with burial to follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
