Reynaldo P. Flores, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Rey was a devout catholic, who felt honored doing the readings at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, jogging, and took pride in his manicured lawn. He was very personable and was always the life of the party. Rey was preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Luz Puentes Flores, his sisters Maria F. Garza and Margarita Marotto. He is survived by his children Violet Craig and Matthew R. Flores both of Elgin, Ill., and one grandson Turner Craig. Also his sister Elida F. Huddleston, and brothers Carlos Flores and Omar Flores, numerous nephews and nieces, and his best friend his dog Buddy. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 7 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
