Amelia Fuentes Galvan, 72, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 in Brownsville. Ms. Galvan is survived by her daughters, Cecilia Cisneros and Rosa (Thomas) Deckard; her sons, Roberto (Lucy) Galvan, Tomas Galvan, Alfonso (Judy) Galvan, Raul (Ginger) Galvan, and Emilio (Belinda) Galvan; 27 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Saturday August 18, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will continued on Saturday afternoon till Sunday at Escobedo Funeral Home in Matamoros, Mexico. Interment will follow to Los Tomates Cemetery in Matamoros, Mexico.
