Obituary of Prudencio Aguillon

Prudencio Aguillon, 82 , of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Harlingen, TX.

Prudencio served in the Mexican Army (Exercito Mexicano). In his younger years, he played in a soccer team and held several occupations as a baker, gardener, construction worker, and shrimper.  He enjoyed singing and listening to music.  One of the memories we hold dear are his amazing stories of his youth.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed.

Prudencio was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Maria Victoria Aguillon; his parents Jose and Nieves Salazar Aguillon; one sister Martina Garza; and one brother, Valente Aguillion.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Guadalupe Aguillon, Vicky (Brian) Millhimes, and Victor (Yuki) Aguillon. Also surviving him are numerous grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 12 noon to 9 p.m., with an evening service at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at The Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Port Isabel, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Port Isabel City Cemetery following the church service.

Prudencio Aguillon, a sus 82 años de edad, fallecio inesperadamente en su hogar localizada en Harlingen, Texas el Lunes, 26 de Junio del 2017.

En sus años de juventud, Prudencio sirvio en el Ejercito Mexicano. Tambien estuvo en un equipo de futbol soccer y tuvo varios ocupaciones como panadero, jardinero, trabajador en construccion, y pescador.  Le gustaba cantar y escuchar musica. Una de las cosas que guardaremos en nuestros corazones y que no olvidaremos seran sus grandes historias de cuando era joven.  Fue un esposo, padre, abuelo, y amigo muy querido y sera extrañado por todos.

Le precedieron en la muerte su esposa de 47 años, Maria Victoria Aguillon, sus padres; Jose y Nieves Salazar Aguillon, una hermana; Martina Garza, y un hermano; Valente Aguillon.

Permanecen para recordar su memoria sus tres hijos; Guadalupe Aguillon, Vicky (Brian) Millhimes, and Victor (Yuki) Aguillon, e igual que varios nietos y otros familiares y amigos.

La visitacion sera el Miercoles, 5 de Julio del 2017 a las 12 del medio dia hasta las 9 p.m. con un servicio de oracion a las 7 p.m, en la Funeraria de Thomae Garza en San Benito, Texas.

El servicio funebre sera a las 10 a.m. el Jueves, 6 de Julio del 2017 en la Iglesia  The Lighthouse Assembly of God en Puerto Isabel, con visitacion empezando a las 9 a.m.  Sera sepultado al lado de su amada esposa en el Cementerio de Puerto Isabel terminando el servicio.
