Maria S. Piña, 86, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mateo Piña.
Surviving Maria are two daughters: Maria Luisa Piña and Margarita Piña; four sons: Jose Angel Piña, Israel Piña, Samuel Piña, and Eliseo Piña; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister Mina Jimenez; two brothers: Jose Jimenez and Javier Jimenez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Burial will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
