Ismael Villarreal Rodriguez, 45, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Felipe Villarreal and Consuelo Gomez; and maternal grandparents Macario Rodriguez and Agustina Ramirez. Ismael is survived by his parents, Amel and Maria Elena Villarreal; one son, Brandon Ismael Villlarreal; siblings: Consuelo Villarreal, Blanca (Jose) De Leon, Nora (Juan Solis) Villarreal, Amel (Denise) Villarreal; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Park.
