San Benito,TX - Telesforo Martinez, 89, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, TX.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Martinez and his mother, Daria Ornelas.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his daughter, Joaquina (Cesario) Hernandez; 9 grandchildren, Sergio Hernandez, Arturo Hernandez, Gloria Hernandez, Sonia Rodriguez, Cesario Hernandez III, Alex Hernandez, Zulema H. Laines, Eloy Hernandez and Anna Quintanilla; 21 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Paula Flores, Bony Gomez and Catalina Gomez; and a brother, Filiberto Gomez.
Visitations will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
