San Benito, TX - Sra. Juana T. Jalomo, 88, of San Benito, TX went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5th of 2008 at her daughter's residence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Josefa Torres; her sisters, Matea Gomez, Josefina Oviedo and Severiana Aguilar; her brothers, Manuel Jr. and Vicente Torres.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 ½ years, Francisco Jalomo; her sons, Anselmo (Sulema) Jalomo, Jesus (Hilda) Jalomo, Adan (Avon) Jalomo, Hector (Eugenia) Jalomo, Omar (Estela) Jalomo and Jimmie Garcia; daughters, Maria E. Huerta and Estela Villezcas; a sister, Inez Nieto; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2008 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
