Rio Hondo, TX - Yanely Karen Mendoza, 16, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at San Benito, Texas. She was a native of Harlingen and a resident of Rio Hondo, Texas. She was a junior in Rio Hondo High School.
She was a loving Daughter, sister and friend that she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Santiago and Palmira Mendoza; brothers and sisters, Yamily Mendoza, Yatcity Mendoza, Mary Mendoza, Santiago Mendoza III, Kassandra Mendoza and Jose Juan Mendoza; Paternal Grandparents, Santiago Sr. and Maria Mendoza; Maternal Grandparents, Jose and Carmen Medrano and other relatives.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 12pm to 9 pm and Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 10 am to 9 pm with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 31, 2008 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
