San Benito- Margarita Moody Torres, 62, of San Benito, Texas passed away on October 7, 2008 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Maragarita is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Tomasa Rosales Moody; 2 brothers, Jose Moody and Evaristo Moody; and her sister-in-law, Adelmira Moody.
She is survived by her loving husband, Simon Torres; a daughter, Tomasita Torres; a grandson, Jayden Xavier Torres; 3 brothers, Silverio Elisa Moody, Jimmy Moody and Rene Luis Moody; a sister, Susana Lopez; and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Chapel Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:00 A.M at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Las Rusias Cemetery located off Rangerville Rd. and Hwy. 281.
