Los Fresnos, Texas - Miguel Olivarez, 78, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was a native of Weslaco and resident of Los Fresnos, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Isabel Olivarez Sanchez; 2 brothers, Dario Olivarez and Ramon Olivarez.
He is survived by his wife Nicanora Olivarez; Children, Ninfa Pena, Ana Maria Sanchez, Diana Olivarez, David Olivarez and Michael Olivarez; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, June 4, 2008, from 12pm to 9pm With a prayer service at 7pm. Chapel service will be held at 10am on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, Texas.
