Brownsville, TX - Alicia G. Garcia, 59, of Brownsville, TX passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Guadalupe Delgado Gonzalez. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, and grandma. She was instantly liked by all who met her for her warm and kind heart and her generosity towards all. She will be inexpressibly missed. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband, Rodrigo Garcia, Sr., her children, Rodrigo Garcia, Jr., Guadalupe Garcia, Dora Alicia Garcia and Daisy Garcia - Briones; her grandchildren, Jasmine Alicia Garcia, Rodrigo Garcia III, Alonzo Garcia, Oziel Briones, Jr., Diego Alfonso Briones and Alessandro Emmanuel Garcia; her father, Lazaro Gonzalez; her sisters, Maria Antonia Gonzalez, Maria Concepcion Garza and Audelia Cena; her brothers, Carlos Gonzalez, Celso Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez and Arturo Gonzalez . Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday May 15, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Committal Service will follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery located at 2520 S.
