San Benito/Harlingen, TX - Raul Martinez, 59 of San Benito/Harlingen, Texas passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Cecilia Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his loving wife, Maria Gloria Martinez of Harlingen, TX; children, Carlos (Gina) Martinez of Raymondville, TX; Connie (Jason) Garcia of Harlingen, TX, Celeste (Scott) Carter of Round Rock, TX; and Cergio Martinez of Harlingen, TX, and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, April 9, 2008 from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal Service will follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery located at 2520 S Inspiration Rd in Mission, TX.
