Lidia Ledesma Limon Gutierrez, 78, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, of San Benito, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Born on February 18, 1944, to Vidal and Guadalupe Limon, Lidia is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Israel Gutierrez; children, Diana (Martin) Carrillo of Townsend, DE, Idalia (Irineo) Moreno of Rio Hondo, TX. Irma Gutierrez of El Paso, TX, Israel Gutierrez, Jr., of Boerne, TX, Javier (Dalia) Gutierrez of Harlingen, TX, Lydia Gutierrez Castro of Odessa, TX, Esmeralda (Raul) Reynoso of Amarillo, TX, LeeRoy Gutierrez of San Benito, TX, Felicia (Jeremy) Martin of New Rockford, ND, Laura (Victor) Florentino of San Benito, TX, Eric Lee (Crystal) Gutierrez of San Benito, TX; 27 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Patricia and Paula. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and son, Jose Guadalupe Gutierrez. Lidia will be missed by many. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St., San Benito, TX with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
