Maria Luisa Garcia, 74 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on November 29, 2007 at Sunshine Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel and a lifetime resident of Port Isabel. Maria was preceded in death by her Husband, Pedro Zepeda; Parents, Santos and Gregoria Betancourt Garcia; 2 Granddaughters, Estrella Vasquez and Luciero Garza. She survived by her loving children, Marisela Zepeda, Maria De Los Angeles (Juan Antonio) Zepeda-Reta, Berta Alica (Candido) Vasquez, Rosaura (Rafael) Vasquez, Sandra (George) Vasquez, Tino Garcia, Ismael (Lupe) Zepeda, Guadalupe (Sonia) Zepeda, and Jesus Zepeda; 40 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 1 sister, Gracila Tellez; A rosary will be recited tonight at 7:00 p.m. December 03, 2007 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday December 04, 2007 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel.
