Domingo Torres Jr., 70, of San Benito, TX passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022. He was born in El Ranchito, Texas and came from humble beginnings. His father and family were migrant workers and he later worked as a truck driver for agriculture. He was a man of few words but enjoyed socializing with his childhood friends. He maintained many relationships in the community and was always willing to give a helping hand. He is preceded in death by mother, Angelita B. Torres; father, Domingo Torres; brothers, Raul Torres and Reynaldo Torres; and sister, Dora Torres. Left to cherish his memory is Olga Torres, wife ;Hector Torres (Tanya), son; Cindy Torres, daughter; sister, Romeo Torres, brother Rosa Gonzalez, sister Raquel Barrera, sister Janie Sanchez, sister; grandchildren, Marcus Miguel Torres Tristan Zander Torres Natalie Nicole Munoz, and great granddaughter, Charlotte June Bothwell. Visitation will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at Garcia Cemetery in El Ranchito, Texas.
