Los Fresnos, Texas Lasaro T. Arredondo, 73 of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Lasaro was born on November 15, 1934 to Esteban Arredondo and Margarita Torres. He was a lifelong resident of Los Fresnos, TX and was a member of the Luz Guadalupana and St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Lasaro worked in the cotton industry and was the Head Ginner for the Los Fresnos Cotton Gin for many years. He will be missed by all who loved him. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and husband. He is preceded in death by his parents: Esteban Arredondo and Margarita Torres; sisters: Juana A Candego, Rosa Marquez and Margarita Chavira; and brother: Vicente Arredondo all from Los Fresnos, TX. He is survived by his brothers: Marcos Arredondo - Los Fresnos, TX and Esteban Arredondo, Jr. - Fort Worth, TX; and sister: Viviana Leal - Brownsville, TX. In addition, he is survived by his loving children: Jorge Luis (Irene) Arredondo - Lubbbock, TX; Leticia (Juan) Martinez - La Feria, TX; Jamie (Maria P.) Arrdondo - Harlingen, TX; Rosalinda (Ruben) Duran - Denver, CO; Maricela (Samuel) Villegas - Freeport, TX; Joel (Shirley) Arredondo - Lake Jackson, TX; Margarita (Guillermo) Padilla - Port Aransas, TX; and Lasaro (Cynthia) Arredondo, Jr. - Los Fresnos, TX. Lasaro is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Adam Arredondo, Juan Adrian Martinez, Jaime Arredondo, Jr., Joel Arredondo, Jr., Peter Rocha, Anthony Arredondo, Robert Arredondo and Ramon Martinez, Jr. Visitation will be held today Friday, November 30, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 606 W. Ocean Blvd., Los Fresnos, TX 78566 with interment to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery.
