Lucio Munoz, 69, went to be with our Lord on November 5, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Elvira Munoz. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Norma Lee (Narciso G) Juarez, Nancy (Jose) Hernandez, Patricia Munoz, and Abraham Cortez, along with his grandchildren, Fernando Herrera Jr., Luis Hernandez, Emma Oralia Martinez, Nicole Faith Herrera, Emily Adriana Martinez, and Ezaiah James Martinez. Also surviving are his siblings, Tina Guajardo Yolanda Gonzalez, Delia Santillana, Susana Munoz, Consuelo Gonzalez, Noelia Munoz, and Eduardo Munoz. He was a devoted Father, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed dancing, hanging out with family and friends. He also loved his horses and going on trail rides back in his younger days. He was good spirited and was always making jokes, there was never a dull moment with him. He attended the Trinidad Adult Day Care Center which he looked forward to going. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends there, and was referred to as Cowboy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, from 5 pm to 9 pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held t 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 10 am at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home, with burial to follow to Rio Hondo Community Cemetery.
