We are sad to announce the passing of Aurelia Rodriguez Mancillas of San Benito, TX. She passed at the age of 87 on August 19, 2022. She was dearly beloved by all her family and friends. She was known for her strength, kindness, and love for her family. She spent her final hours surround by her family and children until her last breath was taken. She was preceded in death by her husband Ruben Mancillas, her parents, and siblings. She is survived by her brother, Demetrio Rodriguez; her sons, Guadalupe (Yolanda) Mancillas, Reyes (Martha) Mancillas; daughters, Virginia Mancillas, Esmeralda Avila (Joseph Petruska); her grandchildren, Graciela Elizabeth Fullmer, Steven Avila Jr., Guadalupe Mancillas Jr., Ruben Joshua Avila, Brianna Guadalupe Mancillas, and Natalia Giselle Mancillas; her great grandchildren, Ruben Alfonso Avila, Heaven Amanda Martinez, and Grace Dixie Avila. She will be missed by all that knew her. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito with interment to follow to San Benito Memorial Park.
